A rarely-known Egyptian Rite preserved by the Striders. Wait and watch for Sirius' rising each night. Observed faithfully, she will grant you renewed hope and strength [Gnosis or willpower, perhaps. To hell with numbers, though; better just to let it show through RP]. She is missing from the sky from approximately May 21, when she sets with the sun, to August 1, when she rises just before the sunrise, so the Rite cannot be enacted during those times. However, sighting her at her first reappearance will brighten the spirit sevenfold.
