System: The character rolls perception + Alertness against a variable difficulty. If he succeeds, a big glowing neon sign declaring "PC, NPC, PLOOK, etc" will appear over the target's head. Sensing PCs is difficulty 4, NPCs 5, PLOOKS 6, and those random people who are just there as scenery and have absolutely no purpose but you think they do is 10. All the rest are up to the ST.
